This time of the year is meant for gathering together, sharing good laughs and memories as well as enjoying the company of those around us. Our Studio Displays team is preparing to take a few days off to do just that – and give thanks for an incredible 2019.

Many pieces I write are reflections that honor our own Captain Chaos, my dad — Tom Pope. I think about him and his legacy often. This holiday season, we are taking a moment and honor our matriarch – Terry Pope. All of us at Studio hold Terry dear to our hearts. We watch her in tears as she still mourns the loss of my dad, and then staying the course and running this place.

At the core of it, she has been my rock; she will always be my mentor.

Tom and Terry were married for over 40 years; they were life partners in every sense of the word. They lived together, worked together, played together. They built this business together. Much like without Tom, Studio would not be here today without Terry. Her savvy business decisions provide us with the resources to weather any storm; they’ve gotten us where we are today. I am so thankful to her in my life every day as both boss and best friend. (Well, maybe not the boss part. 😊)

Studio Displays pushes itself to strive, achieve, make possible, create. That’s what makes us the company we are today. But what also makes us the company we are today is our natural ability to stop for a minute and appreciate the successes and opportunities. I would like to share with you a few of the many accomplishments and events we are endlessly thankful for:

  • This year, we are experiencing approximately 10% of growth over last year; we are growing stronger every year.
  • We are grateful for our clients and vendors, who work with us almost every day. We are honored to have some new clients join our family and their awesome projects that successfully executed this year. Let’s name just a few – Solid Surface Care and Hyster-Yale Group. We’ve had the pleasure to design and build new custom displays and service for their trade show programs. In addition, we are thrilled with the new interior and museums display 2018 has brought; Ina Dillard Russell Library Archives at Georgia College & State University and ABC of NC Child Development Center new facility.
  • We launched a new website that better supports our brand, and we’ll be adding more features and resources to it going into 2020.
  • Last but not least, we are over the moon to welcome the newest family member to our team: Ava Kate Rampey was born on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. We’re looking forward to hiring her in about 25 years!

Our team is the main reason for our successes. I am so thankful for the newly added members, which now gives us the capacity for even better service moving forward. We are more than ready to take on new clients, larger projects, and go into 2019 providing our existing clients with an even more remarkable trade show experience. We strive to be a valuable resource and partner and are working throughout each year to better ourselves and our service, every year is a blessing that brings more hope and challenges.

We cannot wait to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families; we wish you all a good holiday.
