Mountain Island Educational State Forest

Mountain Island Educational State Forest, located on a vital conservation easement, focuses on Forestry Best Management Practices related to water quality and serves as a living outdoor classroom.

Studio Displays partnered with the forest to enhance educational exhibits, providing interactive visuals such as a fire tower for firefighting education, abstract representations of local trees, and graphic visuals explaining the habitat. We also fabricated scenic elements to illustrate the water purification process, enriching the visitor experience and deepening their understanding of the forest’s ecosystems.
