What sets us apart? This is a question I am asked often when sitting down with a potential client. I was in this exact situation today, in fact, and when faced with the question: “What sets you apart?”, my answer was simple—Studio Displays is a bespoke exhibit house with customization at the core of everything we do.Not only have we customized our business model to adapt to the changing environment and trends of the industry throughout our 36 years in business, but we customize our approach for each client based on their needs and program requirements. There is nothing standard about Studio. We’re not a one-size fits all company. Everything we do is custom, or to use my favorite word: Bespoke.

IMG_6445Everyone gives me a hard time because I just love this word—BESPOKE. Meaning: “an adjective for anything commissioned to a particular specification. It may be altered or tailored to the customs, tastes, or usage of an individual purchaser”.  Once I was enlightened to the meaning of this word, I truly felt it epitomized who we are as a company. Honestly, it has been a couple of years since I have been working on developing this marketing message. The word and idea has now become fairly commonplace, but I still love it!

Here’s why being bespoke sets us apart: you can go to your run-of-the-mill tradeshow exhibit house (or signage company for that matter), and they’ll sell you a portable tradeshow display, a kit solution, a banner stand, etc. Studio Displays, on the other hand, can create anything you can imagine! We can literally build a village! We have a custom shop full of master craftsmen, interactive engineers, creative designers, wood workers, and more. Studio is the largest and most diversely talented custom shop on the east coast between Washington DC and Atlanta.

Over the next year, it is going to be my goal to share our Studio Displays story, to introduce the talent that is my father who built the biz from the ground up, and to truly show our clients and everyone who we are and what sets us apart from the competition. I think you will find that not only does our history define how we are different, but it drives who we are today and will help you understand why we can provide tradeshow solutions no one else can dare to deliver.

As a business owner, it’s pretty cool to be a part of a company that has been innovating since its inception and continues to evolve even as we speak. Needless to say—I’m excited for our future, and I hope you will be too.
